The lack of snow seems to offer lots of opportunities right now for the Fat Bike and gravel riders. I live in Woodboro Township, near Perch Lake. If those names mean something, then we are neighbors!

We are about 30 minutes away from each other. The Washburn trail at Perch Lake is a good mix of old school single track with some new machine built stuff. Once we get some snow, the snow shoe folks will pack down about a 6 mile loop that can be ridden with fat bikes.

Come a little south and check out the Underdown and Prairie Dells trails. Prairie Dells is a little more beginner friendly.

Bikes and Boards or Mel's Trading post should be able to help you out. I wouldn't hesitate on getting a fat bike for the gravel roads that are near you.
