Hi Folks, I have spent hours on the internet trying to track down a rear hanger for a Saracen Xray 7005 but to no avail. The original one broke and the bits got lost, so if anyone knows where I can get one could you let me know or if you have that model of bike could you take a couple of close up photos ( one side view and one end view of the hanger ) any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated and I would be forever in you debt. many Thanks in anticipation Alan

The saracen xray is a model from the old saracen range before they went bust and where brought out. These models are not on the new website.

Im pretty sure you need gear hanger #27

Hi Many Thanks for that I bought a no.27 but sadly it doesn't fit I'm beginning to think I must have some sort of weird variant . The search continues

Would be going to a good LBS, and get them to ID it, then order a Wheels Manufacturing one, alternatively check out their charts All Wheels Manufacturing Replacement Derailleur Hangers, guessing you are in the UK as Saracen is a UK brand, most shops carry Wheels Manufacturing, as it's distributed via Madison

I hope you have better luck than I did. I had a 06 Kestrel Evoke I bent the hanger and guess what, it broke I ended up having to sell carbon frame and fork for scrap basically. Well traded it for a few parts. Good luck man.
