OK, all snobby bull**** aside, that single speed really ought to have a front brake in addition to the rear brake, for safety purposes. Other than that, these bikes look comfortable and practical, and that's all you really need (want is another story...).

what are these pads for anyway? I haven't racked my nuts on a top tube since my dirt jump days. Handle bar dings are one thing but the full pads have me a bit confused. Anyway here is the Lil Honey pad. The streamers are holographic not the pad.

pads serve as multi use protection for things like swinging bars, lock ups, waiting at lights, shouldering your bike on upper floor walk ups, inner thigh cushion when rotating skids. they are also a fashion accessory, allowing for patterns and irony.

Gitane = whatever
Granny bars = awesome
Rear brake only on a SS = whatever

Granny bars = awesome indeed. So comfy. I just built up a SS that these guys would probably say the same things about. Old Raleigh mtb frame, coaster brake, platform pedals, 27" rear/700c front. Eff 'em, they don't know. I like your bikes, and I'll bet they're comfortable as *****.

hmmm, if you're going to rock the TT pad, you need risers with pink oury grips, and a plastic/carbon wheel of some sort up front. a 650c wheel will suffice, but you'll get extra cool points if the 650c wheel is one of the plastic/carbon jobs.

for future reference: if you're going to make a crappy bike thread, title it appropriately. makes browsing the forum for worthwhile reads easier.

I'm sorry man, you live if Philly though, shouldn't someone have shot you by now? Lets see a pic of your bike. oh let me guess a chinese made aluminum track bike with a too low stem and a too high seat covered with matching chinese crap components and some weinman deep v's with a spoke card with the virgin mary on it? Yeah man your bike kicks ass, just like the other thousand bikes identical to it. I hope you prove me wrong and show me a picture of your Cinelli or something but some how I doubt it. The heads on this forum have to be the biggest conforming group of non-conformists around, it's cool though the world needs ditch diggers too.

Yeah I roll Flip Flops and bear claw pedals with no toe clips to the bar, where I talk to chicks.Here in California we do things like that it's probably a novel concept on the good ol SSFG. Not everyone who has a single speed bike gets dressed up in their wannabe bike messenger hipster costume to ride their bike around and look annoyed.

LurkasauresRex: That is a Soma coffe cup holder on the Bianchi. The holder is cool but the cup that comes with it sucks coffee rattles out of the breather hole and blows back on you when you are riding. My old Nissan SS coffee cup fits though and it doesn't leak. The holder has been known to do double duty as a stein holder every now and again.

666pack: The stakes are for killing Vampires, I hope that doesn't make you nervous

JoshFrank: what would you like to see on the TV behind the Bianchi? I could have some titties on and that would satisfy genericbikedude. I'm a helper.

Anyway, I think my voyage away from my typical online haunt of the C&V board has proved that my suspicions were correct. That this is the place to rant because offending some of the haters on this board will do nothing to my overall sense of being and the knowledge base here seems to be lacking. So it's time for me to go ride my bike down to the local deli for lunch wearing my work clothes and without having 5 pounds of metal in my face. Spooki, You should try that it's fun.

Wow, what a jerk off rant you wrote. Enjoy C&V. Those are more conservative people however, they might not appreciate your ****head personality. Good luck with your baiting.
