HELP! Ultegra 9 speed freehub stuck on Rolf hub
At the bottom of the freehub is a 12mm hex. Using a 12 mm allen wrench, cheater bar & max muscle, no movement.
Removed allen wrench. Sprayed Kroil penetrating fluid on internal joint area of freehub to hub.
Hacksawed long end of allen wrench off. Put long end back in freehub hex.
Using an 12mm impact socket on the long end and 1/2" drive impact wrench @ 120 airline psi set on counter-clock wise rotation, no movement after several attempts.
What is the next step? Don't want to use heat.
Take it to some place with a more powerful impact wrench?

I have found Kroil to be excellent for this purpose. Were it me I would be sure I was getting Kroil to the joint from all directions, just like a stuck seat post, soak right side up, upside down, etc., and after letting it soak for a very long time, (days?) and it was still stuck I would do the counter intuitive and briefly impact it clockwise in an attempt to break the bond somehow, some way. Good luck.
