Pics or we don't believe you.

There is a poster here who I thought was a guy for quite some time, even though her signature line made it clear what her gender is. Not only is she not a guy, but upon googling around I discovered that she is, like almost all the other female posters here, a babe. I felt pretty stupid.

That don't bother me. I'm used to it.

That is her pic in the avatar. Hey Cbad, yes, you ought to stop by more often. Tones this place down when the old guys get cranky and picks the place up when they get the geritol lows,

Still here, still lurking. Not many posts have interested me lately - guess all you young whipper-snappers have taken over the forum. Besides, living in Florida, this is our best time of year for riding and I'm rapidly approaching my goal of 4000 miles this year so am on the bike more than on the internet.

Denverfox... is there any hope for us 70+ folks? Think i'm the oldest woman on the foumn right now.

My wife is an official member (norafox). Can you top 75yo? And, yes, she still rides.

I believe zonatandem's wife is about 77, but I don't believe she is a member.

My body is 72 but I'm 27 in my mind and heart. Can't top Mrs Fox though. Good for her!

To the racing forum. It is only a matter of time until we have them all.... Resistance is futile.

What about that Beverly? You joining the racing forum? I will mention it to my wife, but I doubt she will have any interest.

I only ride fast when the need arises. The last time I put any effort into riding fast was a few years ago while riding with John. We somehow managed to get between the police and a fleeing suspect on a local bike trail. When I saw those guns I didn't hesitate for a second to get out of the area. John says he doubts Lance would have been able to keep up with me

I'll stick to the stop and smell the roses rides...they suit me fine

I seem to remember a picture of you during the winter with your mtb in the woods. You did have a nice jacket on.

Really. I can't remember the last time I saw Beverly or Miss Kenton.
What’s this, jdon? No one else to harass on the forums lately?

Actually Bill has come pretty close in his theories, although thankfully, I suffered no damages from Sandy. My full-time job and the commute consume much of my time. Additionally, I am midway through a stint on Grand Jury duty once a week for a 17-week term and trying to get some Christmas shopping done.

Beyond that, I spent Thanksgiving Eve through Thanksgiving morning in the ER with my older son as he had an appendectomy.

I am able to spend some time on BF this late tonight as I have been off since Tuesday evening and have tomorrow off as I recover from cataract surgery. That went so well I am able to type this post without contact lenses! I had to wear a clear plastic eye shield all day yesterday. My younger son told me it was pretty cool because I looked like a cyborg. I am using the time off to decorate the house for Christmas.

Other than that, as Bill mentioned, my son will be leaving for Montgomery next month to begin his training in the USAF, so I am spending as much time with him as he will allow. This Christmas will be special because it may be some time before I can spend it with him again.

So, it is not the testosterone-fueled knuckle-draggers that have kept me away, but my priorities. I knew you'd miss me, jdon.

BEV, Your new Grandbabies are beautiful!!! Congratulations!

No efforts necessary for me, and sometimes it has its advantages, now if only I could lose about 50 more pounds so I could stand sideways and look like a telephone pole.

Hi Miss K', glad you prairie dogged on this one, I was wondering why you hadn't posted lately. Cyborg, huh? You and Ahnald going to be back? Sorry your son had the appendicitis, been there, done that, got the t-shirt, poster and commemorative CD. Hope all went well and they were able to use the laproscopic procedure and not the sternum to pubis cuts I had/have.
