Chain stays and Boost spacing
I am building a steel "adventure touring" bike for my son. When I bought the tubes (BFS) I purchased chain stays for a "plus/fat" size. I am following the basic geometry of my 2013 Ti Fargo. I want it to accommodate 29 x 2.6" as a maximum tire size. I am under the impression that I should use a boost crank and rear hub to buy me some clearance. I will be using 26/36 double chainrings, and a 10 speed cassette. Do these assumptions seem reasonable?
