I love UK-spec., late-'70s Raleighs. So much character in comparison to our lineup.

The question is - how do I address the spots of worn paint? I'd love to maintain all those decals but I can't imagine that's an easy colour to pop into a local auto-repair and pick up a rattle can?!

The paint looks great in your photos, I wouldn't consider touching it for one second! That's a great looking bike. Like cudak888 said, it has a lot more character than the US models.

I would not rattle can the paint on that beautiful bike. I would try to match the color as close as possible. Clean the paint, and only touch up with a very small brucsh the deeply scratched (metal Showing) areas. That's all what I would do.

That's the nicest one of those I've ever seen.
Fingernail polish comes in a really wide array of colors.

I'm a fan of these as well. Here's mine!

Mine is a Dutch Cameo and a little newer. (1982) Very classy bikes.
