In other news, I went by and saw the washed out MUP bridge today. Everything on the path looks normal until you get to the edge of the concrete on the bank. Then, there's no bridge! It sitting lengthwise along the shore about 15 yards downstream. What a piece of junk.

An old wooden bridge. I guess the planks were too slippery for some people when they were wet, so a couple years ago someone covered the surface with what looks to be regular house roofing shingles.

Drove by NY casino bus accident scene this morning (a day later), saw ntsb and others still examining scene and removing debris. Actually had to use that exit and can't believe that the exit sign pole is still standing.
