For the record, I intended no political statement by posting the picture of the road sign.

And I didn't find the gif funny, more like shocking. That pedestrian didn't even seem in any hurry at all, completely oblivious to the extreme danger they placed themselves and a child in.

Yes. And I thought of many very witty things to say that would probably earn me a ban

I had a visor on my bike helmet one road ride, was on an aero bar too boot, was pulling 3 other triathletes on my wheel, rolled right thru a red light. They all did a "WTF was that ?" at me. I had no answer except to stop using a helmet visor on road rides.

Exactly... when I lower the sails on my boat, I throw off my hat, so I know where the damn boom is. I don't want to be surprised by a sudden flutter in the sails.

There's a good example. What size SB? Single hand? I miss sailing.

^^^ I don't see what's wrong of funny here. The runner was always going to make first base so the fielder who picked it up was watching for a home run.

Did you see the path of the ball? The batter or runners could have easily fallen asleep but they did the right thing. The defense had no chance.

What was initially foul, became fair, as it crossed back into fair territory before first base. I've never seen that happen before this, though.

I've seen one hug the line and cross into fair territory, but never one with that much spin on it. Obviously coming from a full swing and not a bunt. Minnesota Fats would be proud. Anyone notice the home plate umpire do a face plant...now that's kind of funny
