Had a fun day at 'work' Saturday

A year or so ago, my boss' old cycling coach passed away.
He ran a bike shop for a long time, and was also a hoarder.
His brother who is here to help clean things up and take care of the estate called us to see if we could help identify any bike stuff that was worth selling.
We spent a couple of hours going through some boxes, checking frames, going through toolboxes etc.
It was really quite interesting. Like walking through a cycling museum of sorts.
We did go back to the shop with a car full of some pretty slick stuff.

I'll be taking the camera in to the shop next time I'm in to take some pics of it, but as a teaser, there are 7 or 8 NIB complete groups. A few shimano 600 EX and DX, a couple Sun tour sprint groups, a couple Campy groups, a couple RINO groups, Some campy record cranks (still have original price on them).

I'll be sure to update the thread a bit. We'll likely be putting a fair amount of it on ebay.

Oh man, this is going to be interesting! I would bet that there are people on here willing to purchase those groups without the hassle of eBay, but be that as it may this should be very interesting. I look forward to seeing (many) more photos of the groupsets

Count me in for some NOS French parts like those pedals!

sadly, they're not my parts... Though I may try to get some of it.
new addition for today, a master tool kit from Zeus. All the same parts as Campy, just not quite as nice. In a nice wood carry case.

Might try to get that for myself.

Wow, that is neat. I am surprised to see both a long and short cage derailleur with the Shimano 600 stuff.

Very cool, thanks for sharing. What are the old prices on the Campy cranks? I am curious what they were back then.

Price tag on it is $399 no chainrings or bolts.
They're Nuovo record cranks arms.
and... Canadian prices... so it's inflated a bit.
