Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Fuji claims that the Transonic has it all - aero, lightweight, stiffness. I can't attest to any of that, since I didn't get to ride it. It's already spoken for and it was raining, so no test ride.

Only if the game you are playing is called Aero. If the game is Weight, then Weight is trump. You know just like with card games like Hearts and Spades.

...so if you switch your interests from weight to aero, do you get to buy yourself a way cool wind tunnel setup to replace that scale ?

Don't need to. I would just mount the bike in front of the computer monitor with Addiction on the screen. Plenty enough hot air here.

Not sure if I've posted a photo of the new bike yet here, but here it is from today's ride.

So does Giant. They claim their Propel out-Venges the Venge.

The point where I took the photo from is one of the eastern-most foothills of the rockies. Behind me its mountainous for... I don't know, 250 miles? And obviously ahead of me it's flat for a thousand.

Pretty good day on the bike. 40 miles on the mountain bike, then for some reason I accepted an offer to go on a road ride. So I did another 25 on that.

What about you all?

Zero miles today. 9 hours at the bike shop and it was raining, so no commuter miles.
