Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I don't think the the zoning laws would let me have calves.. not that I'd have anywhere to put them even if they did.

When we were growing up in southwestern Oklahoma, what you're suggesting was seriously frowned upon. If by some chance you were careless and caught touching calves where you shouldn't, it usually bought you extra time in front of Reverend Ned Clebber.

Yep, just like everyone in the south is a incestual hick- nevermind the thousands of certified doctors, engineers, and architects you live there FULL TIME and aren't going to move away from a little college town after they get their degree.

Its funny that you were so quickly abel to talk **** about other regions of the country all being hicks, but you get upset when your area is stereotyped as being ranchers and farmers.

I'll post a pic tomorrow.

You can't be serious... obsessing over your calves size is only going to make you slow and onnoxious. Guys I used to race against that are now over in Europe kicking ass were long legged and skinny with massive lungs. They made it, and me and the other guys that had big ass legs ended up quitting racing and going back to college. Focus on riding and not on appearance, because if you don't that skinny-legged guy will breeze right past you while you grease your bulky trees. That, or start track sprinting.

Why do all of my posts get "gay" replies?

If I am from the land where men are men and sheep live in fear, then I'm probably not gay...

This calls for a new thread.

"Probably" is the key word. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Don't worry about the size of the muscles, concentrate on the density of the tissues and the ability to jump and attack or respond to an attack.

Last time I was at the doctors office he made a comment about my calves being huge , it was pretty funny. Yes, my calves do touch (and so do my thighs, even when my feet are at a comfortable distance from each other, which makes running with the usual running shorts a thing of the past). Some of us build bulk muscle tissue without hardly even having to think about it. I am one of those. Probably will never be a racer but it's still funny to get comments. Now if I could just get a bit of this bulk stomach muscle to slim a bit more.

And here I thought it was just Cypress' thighs that were going to take over this forum. Impressive, man, impressive.
