I don't think PX10's had braze-on's other than for the RD cable stops (no pump pegs or water bottle screw nuts, etc), so holiday76's frame is something else.

SvenMN and Bikegeek1968...I'm a bit short on high quality photo's but here's a better one. This has a 56cm frame I picked-up a year ago near Pittsburgh, PA. It had a few nicks and the forks had some oxidized chrome, but it shined-up nicely. I stuffed on a new seatpost to make it fit. It had a sticker from a shop in Florida...I'm the third owner. It's Columbus SLX tubes and the ride is fantastic!
Yeah, the re-badged brakes are Modolo's. They do alright with Koolstop salmon pads but don't have the leverage of simlar vintage Dia-Compe sets.

Here's my recently acquired 1972-ish PX-10, as-found, yes with the absurd seatpost (naturally it's .2 too thin too). Wheels are Miche/Champion clinchers, meaning a subsitution was made early in the bike's life, maybe even by the original LBS it came from. This weekend I found later Simplex derailleurs so can get away from Delrin, also cleaner Simplex shifters and cable guides and a proper sized (if not Simplex) seatpost. I had already found Mafac Racers off a donor bike, so most of the parts I needed for the bike are at hand...now it's just dealing with the rough paint and cosmetics and a bit (I hope) of alignment on the fork.
I had a whole thread about this bike so won't repeat all the details. One funny note I've found though is from the serial number on the BB. That is, there are two small holes where the rivets to hold the little SN tag should go. But no tag, instead the numbers are crudely stamped into the BB shell itself. (Which is pretty crude too--what's that ridge at the bottom?!) It turns out that balindamood has the same thing on the PX-10 he's selling in the FS thread. I figure they just ran short on the tags or that was too much work so they went to the stamps. He reports that the number on his bike is pretty illegible--one of the digits is stamped sideways!

This is an early PX-10 probably 71-73, all riginal except the saddle. I drove 8 hours round trip to get it. The trip was worth it! I sold it to a doctor that flew (him personally) his jet to my local exec airport in Central Florida, and parked his jet about 30 feet from the door. We greeted each other, he paid me, and on went the px-10 on the jet, and they both flew into the sunset!

I believe the shifters to be stock, although on older bikes what is stock can shift about a bit. However, everything else on the 67 appears to be bone stock with the exception of some consumables (ie, tires) . The bike could be a bit earlier, although it is my understanding white was not available commercially until 1967. In other words, I'm doing some semi-edumacated guesswork here. So take all this with a grain of caution.

There where two Super Competitions available in the early 80's: a PXN10 and a PVN10. Both came with Reynolds frame and fork, but on the PV10 it was just the main triangle. Besides that, the only noticeable difference I've found so far is that the PX10 does not have eyelets on the rear dropout, and the PV10 does.

I was/am a true product of that era – that whatever upgrade I could afford among those I lusted after was what was chosen. That window of time was when Frank Berto was the high priest of Suntour superiority. I took communion, so to speak.
Avocet was the VO of that era, too. Crankset, seatpost and saddles, at least.

I've never seen a headbadge with the Lion facing to the left like on this '63. All the decals etc. I've recall seeing have the Lion facing to the right.

Where can I find the original decals for it and the front badge/ brazeon? Does someone know it?

No no! Post pictures of your bike now! You'll get more and better advice and we love "before" and "after" pictures. Even better: start your thread with your questions (and pics!)
