My first curbside find
So yesterday on the way home from a morning of pickleball, I drove by a curbside bike waiting to be picked up by the trash truck. My observant wife said, "You had better go back and look at that!" I liked what I saw, so I loaded it up and took it home. It's a February of 1983 Schwinn World, produced for Schwinn by Giant of Taiwan. It needs a good cleaning, but appears to be in good shape. Even the chain is rust free! It's all intact except for the saddle which was removed. So this becomes my winter bike project. About the saddle. I would like to replace it with the type of saddle that came with the bike originally. The only reference to the saddle in the 1983 catalogue is that it is a "racing style saddle", no brand mentioned. Can I get some help on the saddle type to start looking for?

Solid bike! If OEM is that important, go for it. Can you look in Trfindley cats and see a pic of the seat?
I would put what you like to ride on myself, maybe an Avocet.
