there was an interesting thread going on the changes to the 2016 specialized crosstrails, but what about the other manufacturers?
I would love to be kept up to date on news releases, new models, changes etc. on all the quality hybrids without having to search each site
every day. Anyone with info on new developments in 2016 hybrid updates is encouraged to post here. I find all this stuff fascinating.

My local LBS already has the Trek 7.4.FX (Firebrand ) and 7.5 FX (Matte Trek Charcoal) in stock already.

Check with your local Trek dealer, they're listed as being new 2015 models (colors).

I feel you on this one. I keep waiting for the specs on the 2013 specialized crosstrail expert..... NOthing yet even though all the other models are represented. Kinda makes me wonder if the comp disc is there high end crosstrail this year. I guess we'll know soon enough

The 2016 Giant Roam 2 has increased $150 with no spec changes that I can see.

On their website for the USA, it shows the RRP of a Roam 2 as $670, surely the price wasn't $520 last year?

How often does this happen with bikes? The guitar market will "adjust for inflation" about every 4 years.

I just noticed that as well. There must have been a glitch on the site last Friday. They had the Roam 2 listed for $799. I was discussing it with the owner at my LBS (which he checked and confirmed), and he said he was going to call Giant to inquire.

Glad to see it was a mistake.

Escape 2 prices go up $60 Cdn. New price will be $560. Glad I got one before 2015's sold out.

I was looking online recently for 2016 Giant Roam 1 prices and was shocked to see them listed for $999, then I realized all the sites with prices listed were Australian $. Yesterday, I was quoted a price of $800 for a 2016 by my local dealer although I don't have a high degree of confidence that the sales guy really had accurate information since he didn't have one in yet. There don't seem to be any 2015 Roam 1s available in my size Small anywhere.

The 2016 escapes from my LBS were the same price as the 2015s. That's USA though.
