Show me your classic orange (colored) bikes.

I just finished building my first frame, a mildly retro (lugged standard diameter Columbus SPX steel) rando-style frame that will become my primary ride that I am quite proud of. Orange is my favorite color, and orange has a proud heritage on some classic vintage bikes...I'm thinking of Molteni orange and the tangerine color that Schwinn used on some of their frames. Anyway, I was wondering if you guys wouldn't mind posting some of your favorite orange frames?

Thanks!

Pete

What kind of tubing is it? Very pretty. Those early Centurions are great!

it was my size, but i sold it. believe me, i wanted to like it. it sure looks nice, and definitely my style. the tubing was "ultra lite" which is probably high end hi-ten (if there is such a thing). it wasn't heavy at all, but it just didn't ride like i wanted. i probably could have done a few things to make it better, but i already had enough bikes to make it worthwhile.

Not mine, but an orange that makes my heart skip a beat. I wonder if it's 'chromovelato,' thin lacquered over chrome.

I know, I was hesitant to post it here. haha it will not always be a fixed gear, I plan on fully restoring it. it was stripped down when I got it, and everything on it now was pretty much donated... I just wanted to be able to ride (my bike was stolen, and this was the replacement), so I went with it (and tried to retain some of it's dignity!). I want to do it justice, and build it up the way it should be though. someday. ha!

They are not chromvelato, just a really nice looking metallic paint job (color over a fine silver base). Centurion also did a baby blue metallic that is super attractive as well. Never liked the frames but I sure liked the paint on those.
