Those are going for some pretty tempting prices, but I can't help but be dubious of a retailer that advocates full carbon track clinchers for urban commuter use.
The Reynolds Recon Track wheels are as stiff as any alloy box section rim you've ever ridden! These are perfect for everything from riding to work and school to racing at the track.

From what I've gathered about these rims, they were meant to be OEM but the deal didn't go through...

Yeah I'd rather have access to the rims alone for a couple hundred, and then build them to the hubs/spokes I want rather than take the formula/straight gauge whatevers they are building them with.

How do you know? How do you know?

The listing just says the hubs are house brand sealed, which more often than not means rebranded formula.
The spokes just say "DT Swiss".

That stem will only fit some Deda bars that have a 31.7mm clamping diameter.

Texas Cyclesport has the Deda Zero 100 Stem for 49.99, limited sizes and in dark metal polish:
https://www.texascyclesport.com/store...idProduct=4793

I bought my Deda bar and stem beginning of 2008. I haven;t mixed them with another brand yet. But, from googling around, rbr forum said that it worked on 31.8 bars, and excel even lists it as 31.8 and working with 31.8 bars.

https://forums.roadbikereview.com/sho....php?p=2849612
https://www.excelsports.com/main.asp?...jor=1&minor=22

Can people list which bars they had problems with? Thanks.
