Pinarello Paris fitt 2nd opinion.

Hello! I am going to purchase a older Pina Paris from a site that has a few sizes left on the website.
54, 55 and a few sizes I know are to large.

I am 5'11-5'11.5
Have about a 31 inseam.
Fairly flexible

I am thinking the 54' because I guess it's easier to make a bike fit bigger than smaller. Or do you think I should be on the 55. Plus the 54 has the black on black option I really want.
Think I could swing the 54 with a bigger stem?

Some websites have a fit calculator. Plug in your measurements & they give you an idea of size. 5,11 sounds more like a 56, traditional geomtry. You'll need to make calcs based on that frames' geometry

Take note Pinarello sizing is usually bigger compared to other manufacturers. I'm a 47 on Trek but a 42(!) on a Pinarello Razha. The difference on mine is extreme because it's hard to find a frame small enough in the first place. But hearsay on the internet says people are usually a size or 2 below their usual frame size.

If you're buying blind off the internet you have to educate yourself about frame geometry and know your own measurements. The risk is too high, especially with Pinarello's irregular sizing.
