Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

abshipp Our tornado warning sirens are going off right now. A tornado has been spotted about 5-8 miles away, probably just skirt north of us, hopefully. We can hear crap banging around outside from the winds. We're hunkered down in the basement, of course.

In the spirit of hoarding some friends who are Hello Freshers ordered more meals than they could use this week. When I texted them to say I had a loaf of freshly baked whole wheat sandwich bread with their names on it, they asked if we could take the extra Hello Fresh meal off their hands.

Cooked it for dinner: Chicken with creamy Parmesan sauce and roasted tomatoes. I have to say it was pretty slick: no waste and a tasty meal. Not exactly healthy. But tasty.

Looking into it, we could order 3 meals per week, with the total cost for meal being around $6 per person, or $35 per week for 3 meals for 2 people.

Nice day today.

Baked two loaves of bread, which I gave away.

Rode my bike outdoors. Apologies LAJ . I am conflicted about it, if that helps.

Delivered the goods. Got a bottle of wine in return.

Walked the girl dogs.

Does that also allow for tasty bites for the two?

Same. I went out today, in the wind and the cold-but the sun was out. It sucked, but I was still out, which was nice. Conflicted as well.

This is both good and bad. I must assume it's much more reliable than all the different news channels.

I didn't get any mention notification

Should have blown through by now, everything ok?

Tornado warned storm to the SW of us right now, heading NE. Sirens going off in Rockford.

NWS Twitter had reported radar confirmed tornado but now no indication via radar.

Fun.

I'm thinking it's still rather crude. For example in states with no gathering restrictions it's not factoring in how cities may be adopting them (or later, removing them).

MoAlpha knows more muckity-mucks than I do, and I don't think he would have shared something pulled from the Enquirer.

harbor freight should have also similar ramps for less if I remember search results correctly.

Excellent. Thanks.

If you were to buy a floor jack and jacks stands on the cheap for my purpose, what would you buy?
