Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cars are essential here, and getting their junk through in order to be plated, is also essential.

I'm still off tequila. Cinco de Mayo 1977 cured me.

I have, thus far today, blocked 11 phishing-type phone numbers. The kind you don't pick up at all and then block.

I emailed the committee chair and he asked if I could come in and do the meeting from my office, where I would have access. There will be almost no one there, since everyone nonessential has been ordered home and the meeting will take about two hours. I would not be anywhere near patients.

I emailed back that I was on day 8 of a 2-week of isolation and monitoring period after travel to a "high risk" area. He has not replied to that. What would y'all do?
I would stay home

Hmmm, this might be interesting for Strava Summit/Premium/Whatever members -

I sometimes get bored with the same routes and I honestly don't know my area (in terms of riding) as well as I could, so I'll have to give this a try both in MN and in VA, whenever we get back down there.

Our president, here in Mexico, is advising people to go out and have a good time; don't take any drastic measures. Yes we have the virus, but not much. I'll tell you when it's time to lock down. I haven't heard of any governors who agree with him.

What bikes are they OEM? I had no idea. OEM like FSA?

Praxis Alba was spec'd on my Crux. Specialized puts Praxis cranks on a few of their bikes.

The YouTubes algorithm suggested this for me, though I think that it was really intended for sbxx1985 - it's even from the same year as SuperBowl XX.

Walked from the F terminal to B terminal in Philly yesterday, I counted 11 passengers in the mile and a half walk. 95 percent of restaurants were closed, the ones that were open were offering an extremely limited menu.
On another note:
We are getting offered voluntary unpaid leave. I’m not sure who can afford to do this, and I don’t know what will happen if nobody accepts.
