Only took it out yesterday, but I think it's fantastic. I can see why people buy expensiver models, too, though I'm content with this one. I should have gotten it sooner.

My wife just gave me a package from our man Rootboy.

Scott, these are the most beautiful bar end plugs I have ever seen.

Stop worrying, they fit beautifully.

I will have a full pic report tomorrow, but I will have to spit polish my Kvale first.

That bike is not currently worthy of these jewels and I do mean jewels.

I owe you figuratively and literally.

There is an intricate, exquisite design on the end that must have taken hours!!!!

That mektronic stuff is great. Just slap it on a vitus of an early carbon LOOK, with either carbon Corima trispokes or early mavice system wheels for the ultimate in weird frenchiness.

Love the bend on the fork legs! Gives the bike a really cool ecclectic look to it.

Wow, how cool is that!!
I got to check out that bit of kit on a customer's bike that came in for a brake swap.
He told me these either work right out of the box, or they never did properly. Had to do with the quality control of the circuit board. His was a 2nd or 3rd warranty replacement until he got a kit that worked and has been reliable since.

I wonder if the boards on those Mektronics were actually made in France by Mavic. Most Euro made electrics, at least on vehicles, were never considered to be the best, in terms of reliabilty.......

From what I have read they suffer from interference problems, like power lines & radar guns can cause them to shift at just the wrong time, like when you are climbing a hill. Most that have them love them when they work though.
