Got this about a month or so ago, lots of rust, lots of scrubbing.....cleaned up pretty good and rides excellent!!
Sat on seat to try out and front end broke off!

Very nice job. I'm guessing around '67? And where did you source the whitewalls?

It looks silly for me to say 67 when it's 70 in the title but I've never seen a 70 without pedal reflectors and rarely with the extra crank webbing. So 70 it is.

Looks good!, I just finished a Sports this week also, found it in the trash as a frame along with a few others & as I was loading my truck the guy who was tossing them asked me if I wanted the rear wheel to the Sports. I started this 4yrs ago and it got put aside while life went on. I built up 5 bikes in the last 2 weeks to make room in my shop and get some extra cash, I called them the Covid 5 lol. Here's a pic of the Sports, had to use parts on hand to build it. I didn't have a pair of Bars that fit the Raleigh stem so I changed that out.

Reflectors are there...pedals are just spun...Whitewalls are Kenda (ebay).

Replaced headset, fork and pedal bearings. Did not do bottom bracket as I read the cottered cranks can be tough. Pedals smooth though, no noise.......
