What are some of your favorite 27" tires?
Hello C&V!
I picked up a fun project the other day ('73 Super Course) and it is going to need all consumables. That being said, I'm on the lookout for some great, classy gumwall tires in 27". I know about the Compass tires, but trying to keep it more around $20-$40 a tire. Are there any gems out there in this size that you have enjoyed riding yourself?
Thanks for your help!
(I know, I know - obligatory pictures of bike project. I'm away from my photos right now, but I'll post some pictures later today when home)

Might try the 27 inch tire thread at the start of the C&V page itself.
Panaracers Pasela for $24.99 at Bike Tires Direct seem a safe bet as do Gatorskins.
Here is the Pasela sale

Paselas are great-
As are the Swift Tire Sand Canyons- those are ostensibly the biggest at 27 x 1 3/8.
I don't think Compass/Rene Herse makes 27" tires...

Well, about 2 seconds after I made this post, my eyes instantly picked up the 'The ultimate 27" tire reference thread!' post. Whoops!
Still appreciate your comments. And I've been pouring through the thread. The folding bead Paselas look great.
