HI, I just started.
I was given an old Trek MultiTrack 720 that someone wanted out of their house. I pumped the tires up and it worked. I felt like a kid again riding it do do errands instead of driving. Its old and the gears slip but I've made due.

Welcome! I am sorta new as well. I pick up old bikes to fix up for resale. I found it important to get a bike work stand. Pretty happy with the $80 one I found at Amazon. You will use one a lot if you work on bikes much.

Welcome, same here, picked up an old steel racer (once way better than what I could afford as a kid) to mess about with and getting a little addicted.
Love the Look of these old racers, and it rides really great on the tubulars....took a while to get all the glue off my hands and basically everywhere 😂

Welcome. I had a Multi Track 720 for many years, foolishly got rid of it a couple of years ago. It may be worth a trip to a bike shop for a tune up and adjustment. Just because it's old doesn't mean it should not shift correctly.
There is a thread here on Multi Tracks https://www.bikeforums.net/hybrid-bi...ultitrack.html

Welcome! That's the main reason I ride. You feel so free!
