Since I do not take any prescription drugs, I cannot advise you regarding their efficacy.

I have a friend who doesn't use Viagra or Cialis but still has sex three times a week at 83.

His wife is not very happy as they live at number 78.

There is hope for users of Cialis (not I)

When Will the Generic Be Available?: Some or all forms of Cialis may become available as generic tadalafil after May 2018, depending on FDA approval and patent expiration.

Just hang on!!

True story... I have an older friend of mine (actually, a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge, great guy, almost like a favorite uncle to me), anyway he was telling me about his recent checkup with his doctor. He got a little too personal in the conversation, and went on about trying Viagra ONE TIME and was, uh, you know, a little shocked with the results! Apparently, that bit they mention in the TV commercials is true! I was almost doubled over on the floor crying with laughter... But to get to the point - that stuff about 4 hours is true! They really mean 4 hours! An ice cold shower didn't work... Nothing worked... He was dead serious and was getting mad at me, because I was dying in laughter! You had to be there! LOL!!!

Four hours might be a painfully long time if you have a full bladder. Two minutes can be a mighty long time in that case.

The last time I was at the doc, he accidentally wrote one of my scripts for 1 pill, to be refilled 30 times. I had him fix it.

I'm going through radiation treatment for prostate cancer and began having problems with urination, a common side effect. My doc gave me a prescription for Cialis (I'm already maxed out on Tamsulosin). When I went to the pharmacy to get it filled, my insurance wanted to substitute Viagra. I called the doc, he called the insurance and convinced them to fill it as written. It does help with urination. Unfortunately, it also helps with blood flow, even when I don't want it to.

Unfortunately, I have "the problem", which is not surprising as I have not exercised vigorously on a long term program since I was in college. I'd do it for a while and quit, like a lot of people. I learned a few additional things. "The Problem" in some doctors opinion, is a beginning sign of cardiovascular disease. Sadly, my experience is that the doctor just gives you the pills you came in for, and does not consider that you may have other physical problems brewing. Kind of typical today. Accepting these kinds of things as normal aging and just throwing pills at the problem, rather than getting people to take better care of themselves. Cialis isn't covered under my medical plan, so I'm exploring cheaper alternatives.

The generic form of the blue pill is called Sildenafil. It cost $26 for 30 tablets if I remember right. Not that I know anything about it personally.
