Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? 1978 Trek 510 started as f/f project. Geared (44x15)for flat to rolling 18mi/one way commute and a fast, fun rider. Hard to believe f/f is coming up on 40yo. I dig the minimalist style on logos, braze-ons, etc.

Old man trackmuter.
The square taper on the NDS crank was worn and starting to slip off the BB. Homie hooked up a C-Record crankset and one record pista bb later, I'm down with a little pasta with the rice.

My work bike/commuter

Thanks

Edit: was in the middle of replacing the axle on my front Mavic wheel when I took this, so jerry rigged a Bontrager qr road wheel to work with my rack. Aesthetically off, but whatever, work bike. It works right?

Love the color combination, bar tape should be black or yellow though

Thanks! I agree. They were going to be black at first, but I got that blue bar tape for free.

I like your Trash bag. (Garbage Incinerator?) Who designed the artwork? I did my own (less impressive, for sure) for my Garbage Truck

I love the blue on brown. The artwork is a stencil of an old tank girl design and yea its the incinerator, the sizing is freaking perfect for me, yet it still fits so much.

Fender is on there because Seattle, it is not always as sunny as it has been the last few days.

Black tires maybe soonish? I do like my pro4s though and swapped them from the old wheelset/frame.

Toptube pad is a saving grace when all you have to lockup to is a trashcan or streetsign.

You're not just locking the top tube are you? Or are you locking through the wheel?
