Quickie Repair of Shimano Component Ice Grey finish?

Quickie Repair of Shimano Component Ice Grey finish?
Hi all,
I did a search but found no references for this...
I have a Tarmac expert - Ultegra Ice Grey components - 6600 series.
More than just shoe scuffing, the cranks, RD have some obvious scraps.
Has anyone done a coverup/ repair of scraps which show the silver underneath?
Not lookin for full-on original look - anything which helps hide the silver scraps would be fine - so less noticeable at 5 yds or 5 mph...
your suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Perhaps you can go to a hobby shop and find a matching model paint, or find a couple color that can be mixed to get a good match. I've seen that suggestion many times on the Classic and Vintage pages when people are looking to match paint on frames to touch up scratches. On my black 105 DR I've used a sharpie marker but it does not hold up very well. There are silver sharpies available that might be a reasonable match.

There is the old go-to... nail polish. The polish options these days are pretty far out, and probably include Ice Grey. But it does need you to browse the women's cosmetics section. And maybe choose a shop that does blacks, and other bright colours.

Just go to your local auto parts store that has a good selection of auto touch up paint and you'll find something close. I used a grey/greenish color from a 2005 Chrysler that matched my Ultegra 6770 shifters perfectly.

all good suggestions! Thought about the hobby and auto touch up. No real hobby shop in our area anymore... and the only close auto parts with any paint options is an O-Reillys. I might be able to mix paints to get a close color... done that before with other stuff...
I'm surprised I didn;t think of the nail polish idea - I use clear nail polish for everything! Just never though about a silver metallic kinda nail polish... that might be my first visit.
BTW - from the old days when I did a lot of backpacking - waterproofed stick matches by dipping in nail polish...
