OK... Box has been photographed, opened, photographed again, contents thoroughly evaluated, reading material skimmed, selections made, selections photographed, replacement items inserted (which required three attempts at packing - involving placing many of the smallest items in a small candy tin), and at some point this morning, will tape, label and send on the next leg of its journey.
note to nlerner: I expect this is likely the third (or fourth) time this box has been used. You WILL need a new one.
It isn't "full of fishing sinkers" heavy, but you could call it that.
My suggestion is to not rip into the box with a drywall knife.
a few useful items selected, and earmarked for accessorizing fleet members... a few items I won't need until the next impulse purchase inserted, and the epic "Box Saga" has survived another chapter.

Box has landed in MA!
The reveal:
My take:
I also picked up a fresh box at the PO today, and will send it out to whoever is next ASAP.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are down to three on the list. Don't let the BOC die out due to lack of interest. I am going to add myself to the list, but we need more to keep this going. Let me know if you are ready to join or play again.
Thank you!

Here's all the good-looking crap:
And this is my score for this round:
This box is really full, so I'll have to creatively re-pack it while shoving in my erstwhile crap. I plan to set the box in motion tomorrow.

So shall we now refer to the BOC as "Lot 49?" It does have a tinge of mystery about it, doesn't it?

The box arrived yesterday, while I'm out of town for the holiday. The pet sitter took in inside off the porch, and complained about the weight.
I'll dig into it Sunday.

I dug in, and I dug it. Some very nice choices available this round. It was hard not to grab more. I weeded out some true crap to go tot the co-op, and replenished from my own crap pile, and shipped it this morning. I wasn't planning on taking the glasses, but couldn't fit them back in...

O venerated crapmaster, master of all that is crap, please consider my plea to be visited upon by the hallowed box o crap. I hope you might consider that my history of crappy decisions and resultant accumulation of crap merit your consideration of my addition to the saga of crappiness.
In other words, I do a lot of crappy stuff in addition to the unbelievably high-end René Hubris "marque" *cough*, so I have a ton of crap for the box! One might even say that I have a crap-ton of it.
