Kuwahara - What Have I Got?

Hi folks

I picked up a Kuwahara mountain bike a while back, which I've got mounted on my wind trainer at the moment.

I'm just curious about what model it might be and how old it might be.

The only details I can provide at the moment is that it has a serial number on the front stem just under the handle bars (YAS0101613), Shimano V-break brake levers, Shimano C201 cranks, Shimano RD-M330 rear derailleur, (can't find a ref on the front derailleur just now), and a badly worn sticker on the bottom of the frame of which the only readable bit is ...TNAM (which I suspect might be VIETNAM). There is a sticker on the seat stem that says 'Light Tubing", "CR-MO MTB", "O.S Tubes", and "4130 CR-MO".

Try posting in the Classic & Vintage section. Photos will help.

I'll try that.

(could not post images at the time, because I hadn't yet reached the 10-post threshold to allow it).

Well, from a response on the C&V sub-forum, it's a 2001 Kuwahara Savage.
