Stationary Trainer and Hops in Wheel/Tire

My tire/wheel combo has a few hops in it...not bad, but noticeable. I notice my roller on my trainer starts to vibrate at high wheel speeds. Has anybody had any issues w/ this?

I had this problem....
Turns out I pinched the tube near the valve stem when I put on the trainer tire.
Causing a very small bulge but noticable on the trainer.

Yeah, sometimes it's the tire, sometimes it's the installation, sometimes it's the wheel. Try removing and remounting the tire, see if there is a patch on the tube. If that doesn't work, take the wheel in to your bike shop, and have them check it - wheel roundness can be off, and this can be somewhat fixed by adjusting spoke tension.

Sometimes it's the tire...

My wife was riding her trainer when the hop got worse, bulged out the sidewall, and blew out. The noise scared her so bad it took me far more time to get her back on than it did to replace her tire and tube.
