I just got a 7.4 a few weeks ago and love it. It fits me well, rides smooth for me, and seems to be exactly what I was looking for in a bike. The Sirrus seems extremely similar. The components are very similar between the two, both have a carbon fork, etc. I would say go with the one that feels better. When bikes are this close to each other, the real deciding factor should be fit, comfort, and enjoyment.

These bikes are very similar. Same gearing. The Trek has slightly better quality derailleurs. The Trek has 32cc tires vs 28 for the Sirrus. Both are popular bikes. If one fits better than the other, but that one.

I recently got the specialized and after a few adjustments, including getting my glutes used to the saddle after a 15 yr hiatus, I love it. I can almost feel the difference of the carbon fork compared to the vita my wife has.
Either way from reading numerous posts just get fitted. Oh and judging by your response in another thread it appears you already ordered the specialized. Hope you chose the charcoal color like mine....real sharp!
