If you don't know what you want, maybe some time off is a good idea. If you want to do anything scientific, technical or engineering professionally, don't worry too much about specificity as any BS will push you in the right direction and your degree is only really worth your first job anyway

ya... but fortunately for him he had a great backup in case the whole gas/banking thing didn't work out for him. ME is especially good around here w all the defense industry as u know.
My supervisor is a cool example too: he doesn't even have his BS (in chemistry)!. Started interning at a local pharma company while studying for BS chem at UCSD. They liked him alot, and employed him as a full time organic chemist! He was making bank so he dropped out of school, made his way up the ladder in the industry and now has a senior scientist level position with salary comparable to most of our PhDs

Alas the great war machine, on that topic I have too many buddies diggin' that sweet sweet defense contractor moniez. So much that any nay say of the war in middle east is a no go for ride chat.
Not sure about it's long term future/ stability though with the gov't being run by a bunch of dumb ***** who can't get along and rather serve self/ party interests and not the people who elected them.

... decided to rain-ride in the dark with no lights; went into a crack in my driveway and tacoed my front wheel. At least it was a short walk home.

I need to apply some Obenauf's HDLP to my Iron Rangers to get ready for the winter.

I started reading comics again, the Walking Dead series is fantastic!
Headed to a Pacific Northwest trip tomorrow. Going to San Fran, Seattle, & Vancouver, any suggestions on things I should definitely partake in?
