New Carbon Fiber Fork Issues
Hi! So I just got a new Toseek carbon fork for cheap and after installing it, i can somehow hear “clicks/ticks” somewhere near the front. I’m scared that it might be the fork that’s producing the sounds. Are new forks supposed to behave that way?

Had to look it up on the web...Looks like a very cheap fork, so there could be a problem with it. But the issue is more likely with your headset.

I agree haha just needed a lighter fork for commuting. I'll have my bike checked tomorrow regarding its headset. Thanks for the advice!

Hey there I just installed that same brand of fork on my MTB commuter about 2 months ago and has similar fitting niggles. What I found for me was that the disc brake caliper mount was too short, so the rotor was hitting the top of the inside of the calipers. My fork came with some washers included so I threw those on the mount and it solved the issue.

Commuting is rough on a bike, a lighter fork from random online shop is not a good thing and especially if it is making noise after you just installed it. I would make sure everything is properly installed and torqued and greased or carbon pasted as needed. Check wheels check all your bolts and carbon expander and if you cut down the fork at all making sure it was cut properly and not damaged on install.
