This forum thrives on photos. So let's post more. I assume most of you are cycling this weekend. Take some photos with your camera or phone. It doesn't matter if they are good, just post them.
Here is a cell phone photo of my 1988 Blue Cannonball in front of one of the foreclosed Scottsdale McMansions that has been empty for a long time. I thought it had sort of a Dickensesque look. The more I ride this bike, the more I like it.

It's 92 here at 4 p.m., so no riding other than a jaunt to the post office. I did cut the grass with my C&V push lawn mower, however.

LOL. Normally, that does make a difference except when you are riding mid day in the radiating heat. And, right now, we are in the middle of Monsoon season and the humidity is about 40%, which is high for us. I find the keys to summer riding are: 1) hydration and electrolyte replacement; and 2) Knowing when the fatigue is heat related and it's time to head home, like today, 26 rather than 30 miles.

Here's your splat... Met this cat in front of the bike expo today. Improvised panniers - $10, half-shirt - priceless!

Some old pics from 2008 taken during bike rides:
Dusk ride to Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. I was on top of the pit garages on pit lane. Casino Montreal in the background...
The Biosphere as seen from the Hairpin Turn...
Old Montreal on a Saturday afternoon....
While resting under some trees, a cruise ship steams out of the Old Port...
Wife and kids riding home from Old Montreal ride. We're on the Concord Bridge...

Tomorrow literally; first thing in the morning. I think I'll be out at 5:30-6:00AM and plan on finishing up in time for the TDF at 8:30AM. That should give me time to kill off 50km or so depending on how hard I can push the Gitane.

Great shots. Keep them coming. That Biosphere photo is one of the more interesting I have seen of the structure.

Here's my 12 yo daughter smiling happily because after 19 months she's grown enough to safely ride her 1982 Trek 610. She's already asking to head out on the road with me.

Something different:
Seventy something Bridgestone Kabuki Submariner. Sugino Mighty crank with a Super Record ring, first generation Dura Ace brakes, BIM saddle, Formula hubs, $9 bars and $5 brake levers from Nashbar. I'm waiting for Velo Orange to restock the braided ss brake housing. I don't know what I'll do with it when it's finished because I don't have any use for a single speed. I'm having fun building it, though.

I got a 2.5 hour mountain bike ride in today. 80F with 90% humidity...didn't have it in me to pull the camera out. Perhaps tomorrow.
And, if I get around to it, I'll take a picture of my vintage push lawnmower as well
