WOW! This bike was truly ahead of it's time! I wonder why somebody today hasn't picked up that hub design? I wonder how much of a pain changing gear sets would be?

Sort of a cool bike, and fair price if you can get it to you. It's a Schwinn Town and Country - these are fillet brazed and cro-mo...it's not a Schwinn Twin. Built in the paramount section.

Old (1940's? '50's?) Schwinn Tandem Bike. Has been restored years ago but could now use some paint restoration. It is solid, and heavy. Will get wheel size next time we get to Norristown. Haven't found serial number or frame size. Don't know what suspension or handle bars are called.

For you and two other friends!

Santana Triple Tandem - $1700 (Verona/ Mt Horeb)

"Older Santana Triple Tandem in nice shape. Currently set up for a child stoker in the middle, but I have all the parts to convert it back. We used it for a couple years, but then along came number 2 son, who quickly outgrew the trailer. Things then got busy, so my husband didn't have time to captain the bike, and I'm too short (He's 6' and I'm 5'3"). I bought myself a new triple tandem I can captain, and hung this one up for the last six years. When I bought it, I had Atkins go thru it, tune it, put on new tires, etc. Its a nice bike, and I suspect with three adults would go faster than a rocket full of monkeys. Please forgive me but I don't have bike speak skills meaning I can't tell you about gear ratios and such. If you're interested, best to come look at it. One photo has a measurement for the stand over in the front. Happy to take more photos if there's something specific you need to see. I've priced it low to sell it quick-we've run out of storage space."

^^^^ Kid-mid-stoker setup. The recumbent seat back for the mid-stoker makes for not much of a view for the aft stoker (modern version would probably have a flat-panel monitor...). I could pilot my friend Pete and his partner, both blind, on this bike.

That's, what, a 60-tooth big chainring?

Prologue prologue prologue!

Ok, for all of you who have wanted one of these framesets but haven't come across one, or a nice one, GUESS WHAT, for $160 you can have a 58cm black-grey-black fade Prologue framset to build and experience the epic ride these provide. It's a frame that is worth putting the nicest and newest components on. 6400 would be nice, sure, and match well, but really, 7400 at least. And that goes for newer groups. Nothing less than Ultegra, with a good wheelset and supple, light tires--this will be truly sublime.

Run, don't walk!!

Vintage Trek TX700 Campagnolo Special - $250 (CONCORD)

1978 trek TX700. Campagnolo rear derailleur. Suntour front, apex crankset, a survivor. Brooks saddle, Not sure how the bike was configured as it was purchased in 1983, lightly used. I am the second owner. Someday I will regret that I sold this museum piece, but alas I am old and have not rode this bike in 10 years. The decal on the tube says Campagnolo Special, the decal was on the bike when i purchased it. Some goofball internet troll that had no intentions of purchasing the bike corrected me and said that since all the components are not CAMPAGNOLO then it must not be one of those specials. He also corrected my spelling of Campagnola, what a bad person. Best offer

All my regular riders are too big for me

In the end, probably better for me. A 60cm is more my size (and I'm supposed to be downsizing).

brand new Adventure CT1

Adventure CT1 Trailer (new and unused per seller)

https://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details...dId=1439558189

Fonthill, Ontario (Near St Catharines)
Asking $150 Canadian (I don't think these are for sale now but they were north of $300 Canadian).

Description

This is a brand new Adventure CT1 or Bob trailer that I purchased from Pedlar Bike Shop and NEVER USED. (It was a few years ago) It is designed for cargo for touring or around town. - fits hybrid, mountain and touring bikes with easy-to-use quick- coupler that allows the trailer to disconnect in seconds. Come with special axle that fits all bikes. - folds very compact for travelling with quick-release rear wheel assembly - well-rated trailer that is very lightweight and durable - comes with new spare tube and flag, and I upgraded the tire.

I dealt with the seller, just getting a small frame pump and he casually gave me an old French saddle. Very nice guy to talk to and deal with.
