Sizing for Jake The Snake
I’m ordering a new Jake the Snake and need help determining the proper size. I’ll use the bike for commuting, road training, and cyclocross racing next year. I am 6’ tall with a 35” inseam (long legs) so I’m thinking a 58 or 60cm frame. Thanks

I'm 6'2 and ride a 58 Jake, with a 120 stem. Probably about the same inseam as you though. You could probably ride either, but I'd suggest the 58 if you're going to do any 'cross racing.
Good luck.
Good luck.

I'm in the same boat, shopping for a JTS right now. I haven't driven my car in 11 weeks now, I ride everywhere, every day. Given the terrain I deal with, I've had a lot of locals push me towards the JTS. I'm 6'1", 240 (BMI of 27), inseam of 30" (short legs). I'm hardly small but I ride 1 - 2 1/2 hours every day, work out three days a week. The hardest part about finding ANY bike to fit me is that my torso length is the majority of my height. Any ideas on a frame/stem size combo?

Just rode a 54cm Jake home, which I thought sounded small, but it's perfect. Damn short legs.

I love my JTS but with my 6’ self and 35” inseam I was getting a lot of neck pain with the 58cm frame on longer rides. It was swapped it out for a 60cm with a short stem and this seems to do the trick. The ideal frame for me would be a 60cm with a 58cm tube-top.

Not to rehash something to old, but at 5'10'' with short 30'' inseam all the road bikes I have tried have been comfy at 56 cm, will this be the same for a JTS or will i need to size down ?
271 lbs so its commute style riding and longer club rides but no racing for me.

No one carries the DogBoy
5'11" 32" inseam, not very flexible. 56 cm roadbike, 54 cm JTS.
