i love cooking. but living in a rented place, and not really with any long term plans to stay, i do not have good cooking facilities here. in London i have a nice kitchen with excellent oven for making bread. funnily enough i had no gluten allergy there and only developed it here. all usa imported wheat.

But you have a stove & oven? Can you buy Mexican ingredients in Taiwan? I'm asking because I would say that Mexican food can be quite healthy if you cook it yourself. I live walking distance from a Mexican supermarket, though, and can get any obscure ingredient I want without too much trouble.

no oven. and ingredients is ok for the produce. unless there is any mexican specific spices, then ingredients is fine.
I have decided I will eat, Japanese and Mexican if I eat out. I am trying to keep eating out to minimum unhealthiness. Chinese food is fantastic here, but so unhealthy. Mexican is very rare though; I think only a couple of restaurants near universities catering to American student probably.
