That is awesome! Would love to be that talented and brave... I simply don't have the cojones. Good for them, looks like the most fun thing ever.

Lots of respect. I wouldn't mind hanging out with these guys for a week in a "beginner" course and learn a thing or two about having balls of steel.

I suspect it might involve learning a thing or two about the inside of a Latin American emergency room...

That's easy to do. What's the worse that can happen?

Imagine living in a city with that kind of vertical? I suspect the same is true of everyone who watches these; the neck keeps craning ever upwards to see what is ahead!

That is SUPER-BAD!!!!
No really, how do you even start setting up a course like that. I felt sick just watching it! Never would I be able to think about doing that.
Thanks for sharing and confirming I am a very much a road rider.

I can say with about 98% certainty that I would have killed myself in the first 10 seconds of that ride.

I dont know for certain, though I would imagine its race coordinators. Mid way and at the bottom, there were groups of other riders, so I would imagine it to be an organized event which tells me it wouldn't be the police. I have a feeling the whistles are to let them know it is clear and safe to continue.

my guess is the guy in front has a whistle to let people know they are coming 'cause ain't no one gonna see them 'till they're roadkill.
