Once Again Naughty or Nice....What's Under the Tree?

What did you BF members get this year...Will you please share?

This year was a very special one for me......last Turkey Day was the first time in 25 years that we were not a completes family at dinner time. Jade was not able to leave her studies at Med School to join us, she let us know that the same would be true for the Christmas holiday as well.
We decided not to visit the "Big Island" since she was not coming home, much to my surprise she was at our door stop last Sunday!!!!!.......That was my gift!!!!!
We spent our Christmas Eve at Astra Lumina, a special light show at a botanical garden in the South Bay and had a great dinner at In-N-Out Burger

BTW, I linked some previous post to this same question from last year to see how Naughty or Nice gifts compared.

Nothing bike related this year
Grogu, the child!

A new emergent leaf from my Chembroynia Macrocarpa , kind of looks seasonal. My other passion is palms ….lots of palms!

Not bike-related, but this pleased me no end. My sister sent me a picture I don't remember having been taken.

13 year-old me, trying to look cool:

Wifey went to velo-retro.com and got me not one, not two, but four excellent tee-shirts with C&V ads on them.

She knew I liked the two with red devils on them, because I bought them for myself like 20 years ago and totally wore them out. The tandem art from the 1800s and the mysterious Clement tires ad were her choices. I will wear them with pride and try not to get chain grime on them!

Chuck Schmidt, proprietor of Velo-Retro, is a great guy and a super resource for our hobby, in case you don't know. You might know him as the curator of the Campy time-line, and similar ones for Cinelli and Mavic. He also sells a veritable treasure-trove of reprints of classic catalogs. I could spend all my disposable income on his reprints, if I had any (income that is).

Fun fact, he designed the decals for Eddy Merckx bikes, as well as some other bike brands (I forget which).
Clever guy and a great graphic designer.

Yes. Lower right of the cover is a 1A. I'd be happy with a 1B too.

Why? Got one?

Nothing bike related for me, but I got a classy light powered (i.e. solar) watch by Citizen from my wife, which was totally unexpected and cool - it even has a tachymeter on it!

Merry Christmas!

I scored a few cycling accessories -- a mirror, MKS Lambda pedals, and an electric pump.

Also, a cycling vest branded just for me -- Burrito Andy

The kids and grandkids get stuff for Christmas. Wife and I just tell each other to get things we want throughout the year (within the budget), so unlike most households, no Christmas presents, per-se.

This said, For about the past four or five months, I've been seeing Rosie (our local casino) three times a week, and I carefully nurtured all the $5.00 in free play that she showers me with until I'd save the asking price for the last remaining gap in my 1970s Raleigh 531 frame collection. Huge thanks to bark_eater for being willing to hold it for a few months until it was feasible for us to arrange a meet-up.

It needs wheels and a saddle, but I'm hoping to repeat the plan to get the rims and spokes needed.
