Just left my LBS, I will take my bike by this afternoon for the quick look see while I wait. said it should not take too long. I'll be sure to check to see if they remove a spacer. The LBS owner did say they have had a few cranks fall off. Mine seems to be tight and the bolts are tight, but I'll have them look at it anyway. Hopefully it fixes the issue for good.
Seems fine, though I am disappointed; was hoping for a crankset replacement/upgrade. Oh well!

I got mine done last Thursday, I did not have a spacer and mine was tight, they took the crank off, applied some loctite and re torqued the bolts, that was it. I had no problems before and (knock on wood) none after.

my fix is another week away as the shop awaits arrival of a crank bolt, 2 weeks and counting for replacement of a bolt is something of a pain in the ass

Also another question. My wife has the x 2.0 and I have the X 3.0. The website says they have the same wheels but hers has schrader valves and mine has presta. I wanted to get spare tubes for our rides but I wanted to know if anybody knew if I can use schrader valves in mine? Will it fit?
Also, will the stock inner tubes fit a 32 tire?

There are so many directions you can go, it's hard to give specific advice without knowing your goals. In general, most bikes with disc brakes can accomodate larger or smaller wheels than what came from the factory. You obviously have to mind tire clearance at the fork and frame (if going larger and/or wider) and you have to mind things like bottom bracket height (for pedal strike clearance) if going smaller. You can install 584mm wheels (often called "650b") and some larger tires that will have the same overall diameter as your stock 622mm wheels and tires (often called "700c").
You mentioned a 32mm tire. A 32-622 tire is about 686mm in diameter (nominally). To achieve the same overall diameter with a 584mm wheel, you'd need a 51mm tire. A smaller tire than this will result in a lower overall diameter, and will lower the bike and the bottom bracket. By how much depends on how much smaller you go.

You can't use shrader valve in a presta hole. The diameter of the hole in the rim for the presta is smaller than the shrader. You would see this by looking at it.

I've been out riding NE Oklahoma gravel for a few weeks around our lake house. Been having a blast on the Sirrus. I've been running about 35 psi for a little extra cush

I put the Specialized Pseries pedals on my wife’s bike. They have good grip and were cheap. I have Race Face Atlas pedals on mine. I like the bigger platform.
Stamp 3’s seem nice and they come in 2 sizes I think. Race Face Chesters are also a good choice. Size is a personal thing.

Newbie here. Wife and I picked up two Sirrus 4.0s a few weeks ago - hers in Lilac and the other silver - and are really enjoying them. One thing that needs to go are the stock pedals as they just simply suck. The bearings are awful. Been considering the Stamp 3 in small for the wife and either small or large for me (10.5/45 shoe). We want to stick with flats.
Curious what others are running on the Sirrus bikes, and whether smaller or larger. Size wise, the stock size feels fine, so not sure whether going to a large in a Crank pedal is the right thing to do.

I have Crankbrothers Doubleshot pedals on my Sirrus X, they're flat on one side and clipped on the other.
I've been very happy with them.
They come in 3 models at 3 price points (different materials and details), and in 4 or 5 colors.

I run RaceFace Rides. Similar to the Chesters but without the metal pins, just molded in grip.
I wear a pair of adidas approach shoes (rock climbing shoes) with a flat sole, and have had no complaints on the grip.
