cheers man....actually, its so 'kin uncomfortable, lol !
the crank forward, bars and seat make it hard to set off well, the slightest hill is hard work, and the seat itself kills my ass !
so changed that, raised it slightly, so a lil better now !
but its only a slow beach cruiser, so i'm ok with that !

Here's some of my bikes. I consider most of them "alt bikes" strictly because theyre built for fun.
phase 1 of my chopper bike:

Im currently working on making it more chopper-esque. I just welded the longer forks last night. Just havent had time to mount them or take pictures because I've been fixing up this tall bike I found:

Then there's the Hipster:
Its just an old road bike I put a coaster brake on and custom painted to look like wood. Its super clean and super fun. I dont know how many hipsters have said "nice fixie" as I ride by


And my cruiser:

Just an old huffy I started priming with Red oxide Primer, then decided I really liked it that way. Painted the neck and chainguard silver, and have since put on a new seat, grips, and a leather wrapped beer holder.

then there's this little creation we call the "ultimate BMX"

Its essentially just a kids moutain bike frame with a longer seatpost and BMX bars, but it is fuuuuun

Ah yes....and the Cooler! we call this little contraption "Sally the Barwench"

I built it last summer reallly quick, so excuse the mismatched tires. the plastic bottom of the cooler gave out during a ride at the beach, but I kept all the structure, so when I find another cool metal cooler, im painting it to match the Chopper, and pintriping it with some vintage Von Dutch strokes.

Check out the toy I bought today to play with and then RE-Cycle for profit.
It's a Miele "Last Call" limo stretch low rider.
Just in time for the Savannah Bicycle Campaign Earth Day Wheelie around town tomorrow.
7.5 feet long and 3 feet of chain from crank to axle.

Nice what you did to your bike. I saw it in the other thread, nice there too!
I've been looking into that under fender lighting and all that wiring, neat stuff. If the bike had red rims, spokes, and hub and an old school fork I'd be on my knees bowing.......as is I'm tilting my head with a nod and a wink. I like it.

I added ape hangers to my Miele low rider then went for a ride to our park in Savannah. I came across the end of the Confederate Memorial Day service and couldn't resist getting one of the characters to pose on my ride.

Went for a ride yesterday and came across this very cool modified Felt rat rod cruiser. Lots of cool mods on this one.
Solar charged battery pack.
Battery case made from license plate.
Custom laced giant rims spokes and tires. Three speed internal with drum brake.
Custom skateboard rack with special holes to handle all of his locking cables/locks when he is riding.

I know how they ride em. I've done it.
I see how far back the rear pivot is. It looks like the swing action will cross vector with the legs rotation coming through its pedal stroke circle.

Got a link of anyone riding THAT^^^ bike, pedaling and actuating the swing arm?

I don't see how anyone can ride THAT swing bike and actuate the swing while their pedaling.

Speed plus comfort. The tailbox also serves as trunk space, pretty roomy in fact.
