New wheelset question.

New wheelset question.
I'm looking to buy a new wheelset for my Emonda sl6 disc. The hubs on my wheelset now are 24t and on the new ones they will be a 36t. My concern is regarding the disc rotor. Will it be as easy as just taking the rotor off the old wheelset and putting it on the new one, or is there more to it than just a simple swap?

As long as you have the right tool and compatible hubs*, it's easy. There are 2 standards, 6-bolt and Center Lock. 6-bolt you just need the right wrench, Center Lock requires a lockring tool, which you might have for your cassette.
If your rotors are worn, you should consider buying new rotors.
Here's extra info: https://www.parktool.com/blog/repair...l-installation
*: If your old wheelset is 6-bolt, you can use an adapter to mount them onto a Center Lock hub, but not the other way around.

Both old and new hubs are center lock. Also I'd have my lbs put the new wheels on for me since I dont have any tools to switch cassette and so on, so hopefully they'd have all the appropriate tools for the rotor as well.

You might also consider equipping your new wheelset with new rotors and keeping your old set intact as a spare/alternate, perhaps with different tires than your main set, for different conditions or use on a trainer.

Just out of curiosity, why are you putting 36 spoke wheels on an Emonda? 36 spokes on a modern wheel are overkill in most cases, particularly on a super-light bike like an Emonda.

Centrelock -> Centrelock will swap over without any issue. However, there may be a small difference in offset (where the rotor sits WRT the frame) so you might have to fiddle with the brake caliper a bit to get it centred and not rubbing.
