Bridgestone 700 1985

Looking to get idea of what my 1985 Bridgestone 700 (Fire Red) might be worth before I put it up for sale. No upgrades, everything original, no accidents, good shape. Appreciate your input.

Thank you.

This'll probably get bumped into the valuations forum. https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-v...th-appraisals/

FWIW- you'll need to include the size and your location. Some sizes are more desirable than others. Some areas command better prices than others. You can get a general idea by going to the eBay and finding out what bikes like yours have sold for- not what people have them listed for.

Sounds like a nice bike. Hard to value without pics. ‘85 catalog bills the 700 as having geometry for the serious triathlete. Makes me think it probably feels like a Centurion Ironman.

If it’s clean, dent free and just needs the usual consumables (tires, bar wrap, chain, etc.), I’ll guess $200-$225. If it’s ready to roll with fresh consumables, more like $250-$300.

I'm so sorry- I read the original post and title as T700, not 700. Big difference- I edited my post.

Prices for the Ironman have dropped around here and the Ironman would tend to get a better response. What is the component group on the B’stone?

Please don't confuse ebay "asking" prices with "selling" prices. Many sellers never get their ask price. some are far from it. Value is determined once an item actually SELLS. Its easy enough to check SOLD prices.

Sounds like a nice small red bike. It would all depend on condition, how nice the wheels are &, if it's light enough to carry inside.

As is with 35 year old tires and bar tape in NYC you could probably snag $225.
