When its finished i am going to sell it so my question is really does anybody kmow what kind of price this will fetch i would of kept it but its not my thing plus it will help to restore my 1958 raleigh superbe and 1962 raleigh superbe (female).

Tires look horrible but maybe it’s just my phone. I find tires sell bikes. Finding a source of presentable used tires can keep the cost down.
In my market I could not get more than what the consumables cost me. Hopefully your market is better!

The bike has steel wheels and a cottered crank. A bike this clean with decent tires and properly fixed up should be worth $100; you might get more in a hot market that values vintage bikes. It would certainly be a fine camps bike for example if you live near a college.

oh its without a doubt properly fixed up and does not make a sound when being peddled... i do live near a College but the problem here in the UK is kids look at vintage meaning not good enough they would rather buy something more upto date and cheap that would be a rust bucket within 12 months. Sad but true..

My AE8 was similarly equipped. Came with Steel wheels (Rigida) and a cottered crank. The cotter pins were a complete PITA as Peugeot seemed to use different sized ones to everyone else. When I went 10-speed on it I fitted a Stronglite crank set (which was another PITE as Peugeot seem to use different bottom bracket dimensions to everyone else.
Looks tidy and original as to value hard to say. I suspect the market is a bit niche
