Can you please post detailed pictures of how you attach your light to your front rack? Thanks.

This one has a tab for the light. I am not against drilling a hole if there is enough material to maintain strength.

Excellent rider you've created there! You sneaked in some photos of the Bianchi and Bob Jackson, didn't you?!

I had pretty much decided to keep the 27" wheels on my recently acquired 85 Voyageur until I bent the rear axle trying to remove the freewheel (finally had to destroy the freewheel to remove it). Since I was going to have to wait for the replacement axle, I decided that I would try a set of 700c wheels I had on hand. I as able to use the original brakes on the front and had to switch out to some Dia Compe 988 on the rear. The brakes work fine. I may switch back to the 27" now that the axle is here just to see what it is like.

More specifically, here is a link to an article featuring an 86 using 700c. He was able to make it work with the original brakes. https://bikepacking.com/news/readers...winn-voyageur/

I was going to ask the same thing!!!

So his rack has the reflector mount... some of those Blackburn racks have it, some don't. I don't think any of my Blackburn or Vetta front racks have it.

Schwinn

NICE FIND

I`m the original owner of a 1986 Schwinn Passage. The bike right behind the Voyageur.

Back in 1987 I went to a Schwinn dealer to buy a Emerald Green Voyageur, but spotted a 1986 Passage on the showroom floor. It caught my eye, and I`ve been loving it ever since.

I’ve seen the “rose” colored Passages- I always assumed they were unsold 86s and painted to match the 87 Voyageurs.
