long pants; short legs
I am blessed with having short legs and was wondering what are folks doing about it when wearing long cycling pants. It seems that either I just let then bunch up on the bottom or I have to fold them over. But there is also the zipper to deal with. Also what do you do with your socks? Do they go over or under your pant leggings? So far i have been just zippering up half way then fold the rest over just enough to cover my socks and not let any cold air in. Looks better IMO than all being bunched up at the bottom.
So, how do you guys deal with too long pant legs? Just looking for other alternatives...

Cycling pants?
I just use some bibs plus leg warmers. If I need more protection than that, the temp is below 40 and I'm probably not riding.
But they make winter bibs that are leg length...just use those?
If you are having trouble with just regular pants being too long when cycling, arent you having the same issue at any other point of the day when walking?

what is this "short" legs with "long" pants you type of?
How do I get my pants to the socks party without an invitation?

Yes, cycling pants with a zipper on the bottom. It just bunches up all around the sock area. I'll try tucking the bottoms in my socks after folding them nicely. I just want my legs to look neat and tidy. So much effort to look cool...

(I keep thinking... all of the tall people I know, if each gave just a quarter of an inch, they'd never miss it but I'd have an extra couple of inches in no time...)

Only selectively donate the tip, & only the tip. Anything more, & I come up drastically short.

For cool weather road bike rides I wear bibs with legs that extend below the knee. Saves having to add knee warmers to my other bibs and shorts.
For casual bike rides and running I'm considering adidas Tiro and similar soccer training shorts. The local discount shops have plenty of football training shorts that extend below the knee, but those have bulky pads on the hips, knees, etc.
There's no shortage of full length warmup and jogging sweat pants with pockets. If you're handy with a sewing machine those could be modified into capri length shorts.
