FS: 1974 Raleigh International Frame/Fork

I have For Sale a Carlton Workshop 1974 Raleigh International frame and fork.
This is from my experience and the experience of others others a versatile bicycle frame and fork that can be built up just about any way you can imagine.
I am selling this to generate funds to complete a build and because, I already have an International built up as a road bike (Sports/Tourer) and another one I am in the process of building one up as a Townie.
I am including a few pictures here.

More hi-rez pics can be seen at this link:
Raleigh International 2
Frame/Fork has patina consistent with it’s age, I see/feel no dents.
There are some paint scuffs on the underside of the top tube that may be from cable rub.
They are not noticeable unless the bike is upside down.
There are some additional marks on the right side of the top tube as evident in the pictures.
There are also marks in the area of the rear brake bridge on the rear seat stays.
Chrome looks good and is nice.
Check out the photos, if you more or a certain area let me know.

If you are interested and need more or different photos please send me your email address and I can make that happen.
Top tube is 22” center to center, Seat tube is 22.5” center to top
Front drop out spacing is 100 mm and rear is 125 mm
I am asking $250 + shipping from central Illinois. Paypal FF
I have packed and safely shipped a bike before.
I will do my best to answer questions in a timely manner and as honestly as I can.

Thanks for your interest.
Rick

Damn, if there’s ever a bike that will make me break my “ no more frame”, it a high end Raleigh.

Pm should be in the works.

I’m going for it! Will probably start a thread for progress placement when I get it and for the build.

Congrats!

And I would personally love to finally see a 3speedslow build thread. Make it so

Nice frame! BTW, the name on the frame is Worksop, which I believe is the town where they had the workshop.

It will be a wonderful thing to build this up. I will explain my situation at the start of the thread.

I was looking at this and would have built it modern with 9 speed Shimano 12-36 with a 48x44 half step biopace with Ultegra Derailleurs shifted from the downtube.

I think so too! Nice chrome, lugs, Reynolds 531 throughout and Campagnolo dropouts to boot, quite the temptation I could not resist.
