Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

@Velo Vol I know you were among the thousands of trumpet players to play taps on your horn in unison yesterday in honor of Memorial Day deceased vets? I just know you did.

Thanks all! And yeah, she is... she is smart. Smart enough that she doesn't realize how smart she is.

And where did the bookmark feature come from? I accidentally hit it, not even knowing of its existence, and can't turn it off.

Today's launch is on my viewing schedule along with Jay Leno's Garage tonight which I've been told will feature the Cybertruck.

Car tire shopping isn't as fun as bike tire shopping. That said, I think I'm going Yokohama. Why? I don't know.

Man, covid19 seems to have extended the BF winter season. You know it's bad when I feel compelled to unsub from multiple threads because there's so much facepalm going around.

And I haven't ridden Conti on the bike in... probably 7 years. They're good tires, but there's no way to meet or exceed the hype that some BFers project upon them. I've been happy trying out a variety of offerings from other manufacturers and most don't seem to have a problem putting out a pretty damn competent product.

Did you see the "everybody sing out of their door/window in unison" thing a month or so ago? I mean, I've got a soft spot (I keep it tucked away in a cool, dark place) for cheesy **** that tugs at heartstrings, but gag me with a spoon.

more joking than anything. Contis came on both bikes and havnt had any reason to try anything else. There all I know.
I run michelin on my car, not sure what’s on the daughter space ship. Aka mini van.
