CVNP Towpath fans?

Anyone here a regular on the Towpath? I'm usually between Akron and Rockside...

Not a regular, but we rode it about 2 years ago and loved it. It's a beautiful ride. We rode downstream from Botzum to the CEC and then took the train back, taking advantage of the "Bike Aboard" pricing.

Bike Aboard is a fantastic program. It's been suspended all year due to Covid, but I hope it returns next year.

Is this the same towpath that goes through Barberton, Canal Fulton, and Massillon? If so, I've ridden that plenty of times in the past, but it's nowhere near me now. I loved getting on the towpath daily. Many times, Ernie's in Massillon was a great resting point. The social aspect of cycling in that area was superb.

It was a much easier ride than the hills and wind I deal with now. LOL

Have you been up to the newer section north of Steelyards yet. They are working on the bridge over Literary in Tremont right now, but it is clear pedaling up to there. The overlook at Literary is nice with cool benches made from railcar wheels.

I have not yet been there, but hope to check it out before the snow flies. Truth be told, I've never ridden it north of Harvard.

The paved trail along Harvard and Jennings up to the Steelyards section of trail is very recent. From the past year, so Harvard was the natural stopping point for many people.

Look forward to riding it.
I have ridden the Cleveland Lakefront Bikeway or whatever it's called, the one that runs west of 25th toward Edgewater.
