Other... I am the tortoise.
I am the person that pulls into the rest stops on a casual group ride when it is time for the others' breaks to be over. I take a quick drink and ride with the group until they warm back up and/or we hit the first slight rise in the road and see them next at the next scheduled rest stop.

I like to think of myself as an all-rounder. I sprint better than most people, I clim better than most people, I can hold good pace on the flats, but the only thing I lack on is winding descents. Long straight ones are no problem, but I always feel like I'm going to beef it.

I can climb like a homesick angel, sprint the wheels off Hushovd, and descend like the Devil going home for supper...but ONLY in my dreams.
Really, I'm only experienced, and crafty.

I'm only in my second season after a long absence from riding regularly, so I don't know what I will specialize in later. Right now, I'm sort of a medium, non-race-speed endurance specialist. I can maintain an average of 18.5 mph on rolling hill terrain along the Colorado foothills for 3.5 - 5 consecutive hours 3-4 times per week, with no ill side-effects or bonking. I just have to watch my food and water, take 2 rest days per week; and make sure that I don't do more than two, 10-12 consecutive-minute periods with my heart rate over 90% during each hour during the second half of the ride. If I push it too hard late in a longish ride, I have found it pretty difficult to eat enough to prevent bonking without upsetting my stomach.
I used to be a big-and-bulky sprinter type in the 80s, but I don't know if my 40-something year old body can build that kind of power anymore. We'll see. Maybe I'll end up being a flat-stage distance grinder. I'll NEVER be a hill specialist. That is for sure!

On hills, I'm a boat anchor.
Otherwise, I keep a decent pace for a long, long time.

I would say I'm more of an all-round rider that has a weak-ish sprint. It doesn't show up that way in longer road races, especially ones with prolonged breaks and threshold / VO2 efforts. My main interest is time-trialing and that is what I focus on and prepare for.

To increase your speed, do lots of intervals. Then do some more intervals. Then, go as fast as you can in as high a gear as you have until you are ready to puke. Pull over, puke, drink water. Rest for five minutes then repeat.
Hit the gym and develop your legs into the guads of Cypress. Don't even think of getting on the bench press.
I selected "other" in your poll. Nice way of saying "just plain slow".

I voted: "Other" because my specialty is long distance cycling ... endurance ... ultra-distance ... that sort of thing.

I haven't really been racing long enough to have developed any specific skill.
The majority of my training is done in the hills, but I wouldn't call myself a spectacular climber by any means.
Racing cars and karts has made me a fearless descender, but I wouldn't call that a "skill," but rather a test of who has bigger set of stones.
And my current flat-land, no lead-out, solo sprint top speed is only 37mph, so I wouldn't call myself a sprinter either.
